Meet the designer
Meet Paola, the designer behind MINÉ, bringing over 20 years of unparalleled expertise as a jeweler, designer, and goldsmith. Her journey started at the age of 16 under the guidance of her father Roberto Gutierrez, jeweler with over 65 years of experience.
She perfected her skills at Centro Europeo de Joyería Integral in Madrid and then at the prestigious Instituto Le Arti Orafe in Florence, a city renowned for its rich artistic legacy. She worked as a designer and goldsmith in Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Italy and Spain. She returned to Ecuador to work with her family brand, "Roberto de Leon Jewelry".
In 2020, she founded her own brand "Miné by Paola".
Paola's passion for crafting exquisite jewelry is evident in every piece, blending traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic. Her designs are not just jewelry but meaningful expressions.
Inspired by the designer's daughter, who affectionately called her blanket 'miné,' the word took on a deeper meaning, becoming a symbol of love. MINÉ is not just a jewelry line; it's a tale of family and shared moments.
